Sando Inmobiliaria will be present at the fourth edition of the Mediterranean Property Fair (SIMed) in Malaga as a sponsor of the event. Sando will pay the first year’s mortgage for any customers that buy or reserve their home during the duration of SIMed.
As in the SIMA fair in Madrid, Sando Inmobiliario will continue to honour its commitment to the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees), by donating 0.7% of the proceeds from all sales made during the event to the Radio Dadaab-Kenya project. Fundación Sando, the main instrument through which Grupo Sando channels its Corporate social Responsibility activities, will coordinate and manage the gesture.
The UNHCR’s Special Collaborator, Jesús Vázquez, will receive the donation from Sando at its stand in the form of a cheque for all of the proceeds from sales made during the two fairs. Jesús Vázque sponsors the UNHCR campaign for Radio Dabaab-Kenya, for which he is a Goodwill Ambassador.
On this occasion Sando Inmobiliaria is a sponsor of SIMedes, a situation that consolidates its position as one of the biggest developers in the country, and one that is now expanding into Eastern Europe.
During SIMed Sando Inmobiliaria will present a wide spectrum of products located in some of Andalucia’s most important areas. To be specific, it is going to present two new and unique projects: the Auditorium Building, which enjoys a privileged position on Malaga’s promenade, and the Calazul development in Rincón de la Victoria, which boasts ample terraces and magnificent view just fifteen minutes from the capital of the Costa del Sol.
Sando Inmobiliaria is present in Andalucía, Catalonia, Eastern Spain and Madrid, with a wide range of residential, industrial and tertiary products. It is currently selling homes in two developments in the capital, Warsaw. The real estate division has a portfolio of land of over 8 million square metres, with building permission for over 25,000 homes.
Grupo Sando aggregate turnover in 2006 was 759.5 million Euros, up 46% compared to the 519.6 million achieved the previous year. The goal for 2007 is to continue the upward trend of the past decade by going on to achieve a turnover of 1.15 billion Euros in sales. Sando, places among the ten biggest construction companies in Spain, has placed a strong emphasis on the group’s real estate division, making it a reference point in the domestic Spanish sector.
